Amd Ryzen 5 2600x Ram Speed

I am new to PC building, so please bear with me. Ryzen five 2600x website says that the processor supports RAM frequencies upto 2933 MHz. All the same, the x470 motherboard says it can back up upto 3600MHz with OC. Does that mean it makes sense to buy RAMs that run at 2933MHz simply (and probably OC it to 3200MHz, if y'all want to achieve 3200MHz) ? Or volition buying a 3200MHz RAM a better solution (unless it volition not be supported for any reason)? Will CAS accept an effect on this (most of them are 14, 15 or 16 latencies)? Thanks!

If have extra money to burn why not. But I propose y'all buy DDR4 2400/2666 and apply the extra money to upgrade your GPU because better GPU has much more impact on performance, well at least for gaming.

If you dont accept a express upkeep than I would recommend yous to buy a 3200 MHz over clock able ram .
With that ram ,yous should decrease the latencies rather than increasing the frequencies . You will be benefited a lot with that method .
By the fashion, Ryzen merely supports ram speed upto 3200 MHz

AS long as your retentiveness is on the qvl listing for that overclock speed (3200mhz) the cpu will support up to 3200mhz. Cheque the qvl for the motherboard yous are looking at and cross bank check.
